Joe has been a working actor since 1971, starting in musical comedy from summer stock to Broadway on the East Coast, hitting it big in TV commercials after coming to LA, moving into television and film in everything from Mork And Mindy to The Mentalist, Grumpy Old Men to Jersey Boys. Has played opposite Anthony Hopkins and Ben Kingsley (World’s Fastest Indian, House Of Sand And Fog) and was one of the very few adult, live- action children’s heroes on national TV some years ago in PBS’ Mathnet. He remains of the opinion that acting beats working for a living, and that if the world ran as well as the average film and TV set, humanity would be sitting pretty.
